The apartment, impeccably decorated and equipped, provided an inviting respite after a day of exploring the stunning Dartmoor moorlands. Comfortable bedding and a spacious, well-appointed en suite bathroom enhanced the experience, particularly the delightful surprise of sparkling tiles. While financial considerations are crucial for travelers, the amenities such as pet-friendly options and reasonable parking nearby add significant value. Adrian, our attentive host, ensured we felt at home without intruding on our privacy, fostering a welcoming atmosphere from our arrival, accented by complimentary champagne and chocolates. Located on Ashburton's high street yet serene in the evenings, the Upper proves to be an ideal base for exploring South Devon, delivering an enjoyable experience that justifies its cost.
